  1. Hello all, So as I talk to my friends and coworkers who are DPs and have talked to more ASC members about their beginnings, one common trait I have come across is that they have a mentor.   3. Hello all, I'm interested in discussing mentorship as an option for learning and refining skills. Going to film school isn't an option for everyone. What would a Cinematography mentorship look like? What is the bast way to approach somebody for a mentorship? I'm asking because I'm looking to work with and learn from an experienced cinematographer and I'm sure many others out there are looking for the same thing.
