Anytime I turn on the camera the display shows the TC ticking away with or without a tape installed and whenever the camera is tunred on. Any suggestions how I can get the TC synced up again. Stuart Brereton Posted November 24, 2005 Share Posted November 24, 2005 Time code is often set to 'Free Run' when jam-syncing cameras or other time code devices together. The more normal setting would be Record Run. Somewhere in your cameras' menu, probably the page where you set the TC, will be a option to switch between Free Run & Rec Run. Jeremy Posted November 27, 2005 Share Posted November 27, 2005 To change this in the DVX, press the menu button, scroll down to option number "5. Recording Setup," select this option (by pressing the pause button), Scroll down to the second menu screen, the first option will be "TCG", press Pause to toggle between "Free Run" and "Rec Run".
