Applying for a Camera Operator Position

Hello to all,

I'm applying for a video camera operator position with a TV station. Its an entry level position & i'm super keen on giving it my best shot. I just have some questions about this:

 

1. They use Beta SX format. Any advice, info or links I need to know about this format?

 

2. I'm 6'6" & quite fit. Would an employer view my height as an advantage in this type of work?

 

3. Any other general advice or tips I may need to know.
