I've noticed that some people have been, and I have seen the ads to modify the turret (3lens) mount to a fixed(single) mount. Why are people doing this? Is it just the baffle problem or something else? Personally, I enjoy the convenience of having three lenses available for masters, 2-pops, cutaways/CUps when shooting a scene rather than stopping and changing lenses and stopping the flow. Just wondering if there's a bigger reason for considering this. Is it the desire to have a PL mount?

Almost exclusively to get a different lens mount that wouldn't fit on the turret, such as PL, BNC or even Nikon. Also makes the mount more precise by eliminating the rotating turret.
