Hi Everyone

Recommended Posts

I am shooting a music vid on super 16mm in a couple of weeks. I am going to have the footage transfered to a hard drive via DVCPROHD to edit on a FCP system. Any hints, suggestions, warnings, or general hoopla any of you pros can offer me?

thanks!

an arri SR2

a roll of 7274

a roll of 7218

a bunch of 7246 that we need to shoot indoors with

yep. although certainly not a pro, i've shot about 8 to 10 30 & 60 spots on super 16

and 12 years of vid

i think the shooting is good to go. i have a great crew.

just wondering how the whole transfer to HD is going to happen

actually thats the whole idea behind the shoot, to try the transfer to HD out

i usually just get a transfer, color, and then to DVCPRO50 and then edit away

thanks

Hi mm68xl (dont know what your name is)

When you do get this done, could you let me know how much footage (feet) you got transffered to HDD and how heavy it was? As in GBs? I'd be interested to hear since i have never done this before and wonder what size HDD to go in with...

cheers,
