Those folks can go there whenever they want. There are two bodies who regularly review enemy combatant statis.

and no it doesn't surprise me that you haven't hear about it.

 

Ha, perhaps this would hold greater validity if a respected independant body held the inspection rather than delegates from an 'installed' goverment, and in front of members of the international press too. None the less it is an achievment in PR, if somewhat limited in scope.

 

Nearly all international goverments are, or are begining to criticise the US approach with Guantanamo, including those who support foregin policies and military actions, so it appears Afghanistan is the exception.

 

Anyway, I say watch the film, its not about whether you believe it or not, but whether you feel its succesfully compelling - this is a cinematography forum after all. Winterbottom and Zyskind are always doing something unusual so its definatly worth a look.
