Matt Wells
Does anyone know of a listing or similar of the cinemas in the UK with 70mm capability? Matt

Nate Downes
What? There's a 70mm projector at the Crown Odyssey in Jupiter? *grabs phone to see if it's being used for any shows*
Premium Member John Pytlak RIP Posted June 9, 2004 Premium Member Share Posted June 9, 2004 The problem often is that theatres may have a 70mm projector, but have let their support systems (e.g., magnetic heads, DTS reader, 70mm splicer, lenses) degrade. Also, they may no longer employ someone knowledgeable enough to show it without damaging the print.
Nate Downes
I emailed them to see. They state that they can only play 70mm films that use digital audio, but do still continue to play 70mm movies whenever they can arrange it.
