Black line at top of HVX200 footage

Greetings,

 

I'm wondering if anybody has experienced a thin black line at the very top of the frame when shooting in standard def (480i, 24p, 16:9) with the HVX200. It first became apparent to me after capturing in FCP. It's also present in the raw QuickTime clip when played directly from the QT player.

 

I tested another HVX at a local rental house, loaded it on their FCP system, and it did the same thing.

 

It doesn't seem to be on the tape itself. I've played tapes off a deck and viewed them underscanned on an NTSC monitor. All the info and lines seem to be intact. Seems like it's a QuickTime issue??

 

Any ideas?
