Premium Member Laurent Andrieux Posted July 24, 2004 Premium Member Share Posted July 24, 2004 Mitch : do you know how much it's worth ?
Mitch Gross
Not particularly, but they sell on eBay "new" in the box meaning they're 10 years old but never used) for around $100 - $150. So I guess the simple answer is not a lot.
IngmarRosengaard
I have used the Krasnogorsk for over three years; It is a very sturdy camera. I have read that Spike Lee and Martin Scorsese keep them in their arsenal. I purchased mine for $125, and, though I work 90% in 35mm, I use it regularly. IngmarRosengaard
Keep in mind, of course, that it is often as loud as a sewing machine. I only shoot silent footage with it, and it has to be modified to shoot Super 16. You get what you pay for, but, that being said, it's still nice to have laying around.
