Premium Member David Mullen ASC Posted July 7, 2004 Premium Member Share Posted July 7, 2004 You should go to one of the places doing digital intermediates -- I'm sure they can project some footage of S16 blown-up to 35mm digitally. Cinesite did this for "Conspiracy" and some others and I know Technique has done it as well. Most recent film to hit the theaters done like that was "Never Die Alone" as far as I recall. Fulgencio Martinez
The Goya award (spanish oscar) for cinematography was given last year to Javier Aguirresarobe (Nicole kidman´s "The others") for a work in s16 2K called "Los soldados de Salamina" (Salamina soldiers) I´m not sure if you could see this film in U.S, but the result is amazing
