Krasnogorsk Stock

I am new to film and am thinking about buying a Krasnogorsk K-3 for my first film camera. I have a few questions about stock.

1 Can I use Tungsten film stock?

2 For Color Outdoors/Indoors, what is a good choice?

3 For Black and White Outdoors/Indoors, is Kodak 7222 a good choice?

Any 16 mm film stock will fit.

 

1) Yes you can but it won't fit outdoors nor indoors day in.

 

2) For outdoors or indoors day in, use daylight balanced stock

 

3) The less sensitive the film is the less grainy it is. But as to know if you would like better 22 or 31... The 31 won't fit indoors in general but should be great outside. Make your own tests with a 100' roll of each...

You can choose from any of the many Kodak camera films available in 16mm:

As noted, usually best to choose a tungsten balance film for tungsten light (near 3200K), and daylight balance stock for daylight or HMI lighting.
