Trevor Greenfield
Would anybody happen to have a scrap piece of exposed 35mm, maybe 50' or so, that I can practice loading this beast? I'll gladly paypal you money for shipping and give you a special thanks in my next short :) Thanks, Trevor.
Premium Member Nathan Milford Posted November 26, 2006 Premium Member Share Posted November 26, 2006 Give Kodak a call. They usually will give out a roll of expired film or a roll in a dented can for free. You might also be able to just ask for a sample roll of a particular stock and use that. Fuji will typically do the same.

Jon Kukla
You could also probably try local camera houses or labs if it's easier.

Premium Member Paul Bruening Posted November 27, 2006 Premium Member Share Posted November 27, 2006 Hello, You can also get short ends (200' or so) for $0.10 a foot from someone like DRGROUP (www.thedrgroup.com). Google them and give them a call. Paul
Trevor Greenfield
I called kodak LA and they are sending me a little practice bit of 35mm, and also a new price list (my last one was from before the price change). BTW the marketing dept is very friendly. Hello, You can also get short ends (200' or so) for $0.10 a foot from someone like DRGROUP (www.thedrgroup.com). Google them and give them a call. Paul Good to know. I've quite enjoyed the "still chilled when it arrives from Kodak" situation, but because this is a short Im going to have to save as much $$$ as possible, so I may elect to do short ends. I only have 400' mags anyway. Thanks.
