Premium Member Alessandro Machi Posted January 24, 2007 Premium Member Share Posted January 24, 2007 I plan on using it solely to record with my VX. Many late 70's model Elmo projectors come with a variable frame speed dial which I think plus or minuses the projector speed by a factor of plus or minus 10%, so one could inch up the projector speed close to 20 frames per second, which helps eliminate the strobing normally found on D.I.Y. transfers done at either 18 or 24 frames per second. Johnny Z
I have a Keystone 2500 that works great for my transfer. Autoload and variable speed. I set my miniDV to 1/60 and away I go.
