bringing US fixtures overseas

I have an uncoming job that will travel to Europe and Japan. I would normally take my Kino Flo Diva 200 and 400 along but that may be a problem. Kino Flo offers a "universal" 400 which can be used anywhere in the world, but needless to say, I own the US only version . So I have a feeling the Kino's even with an adapter are out. What about my Mole tungsten kit? Should be able to use with an adapter right?

for tungsten units you just need an adapter for the plug and a 230v bulb. then you can use a transformer. they will change the voltage but not the frequency, but that's usually enough. according to this faq kino ballasts work at any frequency from 50-400hz as long as the voltage is correct.
