crazy musical

Recommended Posts

Hi everyone,

Just giving a few pics from a musical I just shot last weekend. The story line is crazy, as are the people in the heros head, that break into song and dance. We had a 60 by 20 green screen to light as well as an 80 by 20 blue sky.

When the main character goes into his fantasy land I changed the lighting from a flat white bank, to an amber light background and more contrast in the foreground.

Take a peek and let me know what you think.

cheers

chris

So here is an update......

Post Production is on the way,

I am very curious as to what they are going to do with the

green screen. I did a very sloppy job in Final Cut to colour

correct some of the scenes, but I left most of the show over

exposed by about a half stop on the HDCam. Once we do a

Tape to tape and lay in the effects I am going to sit in and do one

more final coluor and saturation sit-in. So here's a link without the

real music.

They have named the show "E Vuoto Per Amore" or "He is Empty for Love"

Whats up with the ninja get-up the operators got on there ?

Looks nifty!

We wear stuff like that in theatre on occasion when we are sneaking around in blackouts moving set etc...

But for cine ? keeping down reflections ?? but then your average camera has some pretty reflective parts...

 ?
