Brian E Ray
Hi, I wonder if anyone can recommend somewhere in Mexico City to get my 16mm rushes telecined? If you speak Spanish and know anyone at the Cineteka Nacional out in Churobusco I am sure that they can do that for you. good Luck.
Joe Hemsani
You should probabbly check out: 1- Rushes, en English based company with a Mexico City office. http://www.rushes.com.mx/ 2- New Art Digital http://www.newartdigital.com.mx/ 3- Ollin Studio (don´t know if they do transfers but almos shure they do) http://www.ollin.com.mx/ You can find the telephone numbers on the pages. Try and avoid Churubusco Studios because it is a government owned and sponsored business and are known for not doing a great job. Good Luck
Harry Clegg
Thanks for that. In the end I used a company called Digital Sprockets. They charged me around $600 to transfer 1,200' of negative to DVCPRO HD, best light with DaVinci cololour correction. However, the footage jumps a little on movement so I'm not entirely happy.
