Arun Singaraju
Hello, How does it look on screen when a film is shot with an HDX 200 suing 35mm adpater and projected in a theatre. Does it look like a camcorder video or does it gives the film look. Since theatre screens have a higher resolution (2K) as compared to this camera. Any pointers? TIA. Here is a list (from IMDB)of features shot with the HVX-200. Maybe you could rent some to give you some idea and maybe a local film festival person might have knowledge of a print somewhere of one of them or maybe you could contact one of the filmmakers. Also, maybe you could swing doing a small test. $ but worth it if possible. One thing on which there seem to be a consensus is avoid diffusion on the lens as you want to stay as sharp as possible for your film print. http://www.imdb.com/Lookup Technical Searcher Here are the entries containing HVX-200 "Satacracy 88" (2006) Camera: Panasonic HVX-200 "Sunshine Days" (2007) Camera: Panasonic HVX-200 Art Officially Favored (2007) Camera: Panasonic HVX-200 Butterflies (2006) (V) Camera: Panasonic HVX-200 Confession (2006) Camera: Panasonic HVX-200 Counting Backwards (2007) Camera: Panasonic HVX-200 Courage Doesn't Ask (2007) Camera: Panasonic HVX-200 Crooked Eye, The (2007) Camera: Panasonic HVX-200 Cyn (2007) Camera: Panasonic HVX-200 Dealership (2006) Camera: Panasonic HVX-200 Deus Não Quis (2007) Camera: Panasonic HVX-200 Fighter (2007) Camera: Panasonic HVX-200 Fool's Gold (2006) Camera: Panasonic HVX-200 He Lives (2007) Camera: Panasonic HVX-200 Hole, The (2008) Camera: Panasonic HVX-200 Jackson Arms (2007) Camera: Panasonic HVX-200 Junction (2007) Camera: Panasonic HVX-200, Zeiss Prime Lenses (P+S Technik Pro35 Image Converter) Kill Buljo: The Movie (2007) Camera: Panasonic HVX-200 Lake Mungo (2007) Camera: Panasonic HVX-200 Lonely in Los Angeles (2006) Camera: Panasonic HVX-200, Zeiss Prime Lenses Manje' (2007) Camera: Panasonic HVX-200 Nine (2008) Camera: Panasonic HVX-200 No se retire (2007) Camera: Panasonic HVX-200, Zeiss Prime Lenses (with Mini35 Adapter) No se vaya (2007) Camera: Panasonic HVX-200, Zeiss Prime Lenses (with Mini35 Adapter) Partyline (2007) Camera: Panasonic HVX-200 Rainy Day Miracle (2007) Camera: Panasonic HVX-200 (with Redrock Microsystems M2 Cinema Lens Adapter) Reunion (2006) (V) Camera: Panasonic HVX-200 Smile of April (2008) Camera: Panasonic HVX-200 That One Night (2007) Camera: Panasonic HVX-200 Too Saved (2007) Camera: Panasonic HVX-200 "Bad Girls Club, The" (2006) {Holy Ghost!
