Dan Goldberg
Hey all I haven't been on here for quite some time, since I have been directing a film. It is finally done and I am sending it off to Montreal for the film festival, hopefully in the next few days. However, I have tried several times to burn the film, edited in Adobe Premiere Pro to DVD-R, but each time about 50% thru the burning process, it stops and says something along the lines of: "error: (missing) DLL Plug-In". Does anyone know what this means, and how I can fix it? I am in desperate need to figure it out, so hopefully someone can help me; it'd be appreciated beyond belief! (maybe I'll even put your name in the "special thanks" part of the credits :) ) Thanks ahead of time, Dan Goldberg
Premium Member Tony Brown Posted July 28, 2007 Premium Member Share Posted July 28, 2007 This is irrelevant I'm sure but I could never get DVD-R's to work. Switch to DVD+R's and had a 100% success rate
andrew heggli
you could try downloading a windows update made for adobe premiere pro. Just google "premiere pro windows update" or something and I'm sure the problem will be fixed. Other than that it might be a problem with the dvd disks. I had a similar problem but that was when i was exporting my project to a harddrive. The problem was that the hardrive was not formatted properly. Premium Member Tony Brown Posted July 29, 2007 Premium Member Share Posted July 29, 2007 Make sure the driver for your DVD burner is the latest and you could try the old uninstall / reinstall trick with Premiere The forums on the Adobe site are extremely useful. You'll find far more people burning dics on a forum like http://forum.doom9.org/index.php its full of people who love sorting problems
Jon Kukla
Truthfully, I'd find an editing forum and ask there first! :P After all, those guys deal with this stuff everyday for a living. Plenty of us here do dabble in editing, but I'm guessing not enough to deal with complex plug-in issues. Or maybe that's just me.
