Mr. Macgregor
Easy question: 150 fps. European 50Hz electricity. Will i encounter flicker problems with flicker free HMIs and Kinoflos?
Mitch Gross
Probably not. The Kinos will be no problem but HMIs can suffer from "arc wander." This is generally only an issue at exceptionally high frame rates such at 500fps+, so I don't think you'll have any issue at 150fps.
Mr. Macgregor
Ok, i just reviews the telecine. 150fps at 45º and 22º, give flickering problems. <_<

Were they flicker free units? One even has to start being careful with small tungsten lights above 120 fps @ 180. Stephen
Mr. Macgregor
 Well, i really needed to go fast. Flickering is not too annoying anyway. I wonder if there is something that could go this fast.

Premium Member Kevin Zanit Posted August 25, 2007 Premium Member Share Posted August 25, 2007 Or any tungsten light 5k or over on AC power will be fine, see the website in my signature for proof of that.
