Premium Member David Auner aac Posted August 30, 2007 Premium Member Share Posted August 30, 2007 Hi Jonathan, the link doesn't work. It is what it says, a Bolex Pro. It was a competitor to the Arri SR and the like. IIRC it wasn't built very long or in large numbers. seems like it was an "innovative" design that didn't work very well. Look around the web and search the boards here. There's some info on the camera. Cheers, Dave
Jonathan Bowerbank
Damnit, the one time I forget to do a search, someone calls me out on it, ha ha Thanks David! By the way, it's still there, the link is probably just messed up. Do an eBay search for Bolex Pro. It's actually TWO Bolex Pros, funky Edited August 30, 2007 by Jonathan Bowerbank
Premium Member Satsuki Murashige Posted August 30, 2007 Premium Member Share Posted August 30, 2007 The ebay ad says the mags are 300' coaxial. WTF?! <_< 300', that's useful...
Jonathan Bowerbank
I had a feeling it was a fake ad...can't tell for sure though :/
Matthew Buick
The ebay ad says the mags are 300' coaxial. WTF?! <_< 300', that's useful... Let me guess, it goes at 27 fps. With a 101 fps high-speed mode.
