Russel Baldonado Posted October 18, 2007 Share Posted October 18, 2007 Hello everyone, I just bought an A1 and I'm very happy with it. but i'm wondering if it is harmful for the camera to use a regular sony premium miniDV tape stock. before I bought the camera, I just to play with a FX1 and they only have miniDV tapes. Nowadays they have miniDV tapes for HDV for $10 dollars a piece. I'm sure the miniDV for HDV would give a better image, but I'm just curious if i'm wrecking my camera by using miniDV for DV.
