Premium Member Hunter Hampton Posted October 25, 2007 Premium Member Share Posted October 25, 2007 The Canon b4cm? Lets you use 2/3" c-mount lenses on broadcast 2/3" 3-chip body. Has any one used this product? Being $2,000 it is costly over the cheaper alternatives from century optics. I wonder if the canon has a corrective lens for the 3-chip prism? I wouldnt mind putting some specialty c-mount lenses on my camera (Fuji makes a lot of 2/3" 5 megapixel c-mount primes, including a 1.8mm f1.4 circular fisheye (no typo its really 1.8mm)) Any feedback would be nice. Thank you, Hunter
Premium Member Hunter Hampton Posted October 28, 2007 Author Premium Member Share Posted October 28, 2007 Any one put a c-mount lens on a broadcast body? hmmm. I just put nikon AI lenses on my camera and becuase of the focal distance to the plane, it was macro to the extreme. Looking at fingerprints I could see how the skin folds. There is significant color fringing (in the blue/green I think). I am just looking for somekind of adapter with a 3-chip corrective lens (for the prism). Have any recommendations?
