Funk Posted October 13, 2004 Share Posted October 13, 2004 Morning all, I've had my super-8 camera for about a year now, and i've just had to replace the batteries for the light meter for the first time. The problem is that they use px-625 batteries that (because they contain mercury) are no longer sold. Has anyone else experienced this problem (I imagine so)? What did you do? I'm in a little bit of a pickle, and I really don't want to have to stop shooting super 8 or buy another camera (i'm using a Braun Nizo camera at the mo', although I don't know what model it is). Funk Posted October 14, 2004 Author Share Posted October 14, 2004 Thanks, it seems like the hearing-aid battery is the best way to go (rather than replacing the wein batteries every couple of months). Has anyone done it? I', a little concerned in that my camera takes 2 batteries and i'm worried about the extra 0..5 volts pushing the light-meter too far and ruining all my shots.
