clueless
Hi There, I'm wanting to shoot our wedding day on Super 8 and transfer it to DVD later. I have one week ( :o ) to buy a camera and some film! There are a few on ebay - the one closest to me is a Cinemax one. Does anyone have any information on this camera, good or bad?? I'm a complete novice and just like the look and effect of super 8, so it needs to be fairly basic and easy to use. Other cameras I could bid on are : Canon 518SV (not tested with film) is there a high possiblity that it could not work with film??? Canon 518 2 - doesn't say anything about being in working order Agfa movexoom - seems newer and has alot of features. Any information would be greatly appreciated :) TIA
Jim Carlile
If the Agfa works then go for it. It's twice the camera of the others. The Canons are probably a little easier-- the 518's are nice.
clueless
Thanks for your reply, Jim - I'll go for one of the Canon's - the Agfa sold for more than I wanted to pay for a last minute whim!!
Nate Downes
Thanks for your reply, Jim - I'll go for one of the Canon's - the Agfa sold for more than I wanted to pay for a last minute whim!! If you were nearby I'd rent you one (or both) of my Chinon newsreel cameras.
