problems of transfering 16GB P2 card to P2 store

just bought a 16GB P2 card today, but i can't transfer it to laptop with the P2 store(as a card reader), do i need any firmware to update the P2 store? reeally thx

 

 

btw can i record with a normal portable HDD come with firewire to the HVX200 directly?

Why you don't transfer the info via firewire directly from the HVX200 ???, just connect the hvx to your computer (via firewire) i guess mac. Then turn on your camera. Then search the Mode Button (in the back) keep press this button about 4 seg until the PC lamp turn ON, the wait about 5 seconds. In your desktop appear like Hard disc your P2 "info" then you can drag it into your Hard disc and create a copy. You can review your footage at final cut but first you have to import your files or if you want you can see it at your P2CMS...

 

When your files are copy drag the HVX "disc" to the trash before you turn off your HVX
