Mark Pagan
I'm shooting a promo video for a belly dancer on a Canon A1 on HD (probably on 24p). She's going to be dancing in front of a 12 foot backdrop. Any suggestions on flattering lighting scenarios for dancers? I was planning on keeping it soft, but any suggestions would be helpful. Thanks, Mark
Premium Member Chris Keth Posted November 6, 2008 Premium Member Share Posted November 6, 2008 Personally, I would go pretty soft but try to keep good contrast in it. I would do something like something through an 8x on one side and solids on the other side for neg fill. Fill from the front with a kino through some diff (to make a nicer catchlight in the eye) as needed.
