Jason Hinkle RIP
This lab does: http://www.cinelicious.tv/?page_id=39 There's an old discussion somewhere here in this forum about ultra-16 labs if I remember correctly.
Premium Member Will Montgomery Posted February 2, 2009 Premium Member Share Posted February 2, 2009 Cinelicious recommends Alpha Cine in Seattle for Ultra 16 PROCESSING. It has been discussed a little here, but it comes down to how the rollers might rub the area between the sprockets. Cinelicious and Bonolabs both support Ultra-16 for TRANSFER/TELECINE. There are surely some other telecine houses as well but they need to be able to "see" the sprocket holes so they can use the space between them. I seem to remember something about a Sony telecine device being capable. Do a search on this site under Ultra-16 for more info.
chris kempinski
The Lab I use does not admit to "endorse" Ultra, but I've never had a problem with them. They do always give me a verbal warning that they are not responsible if there is rubbing or scuffing. PM me and I'll give you the low down in Vancouver if you want. I don't think any lab will openly admit they can support Ultra as a format...... yet
