Premium Member Keith Walters Posted February 3, 2009 Premium Member Share Posted February 3, 2009 The Australian 10 network broadcast last Sunday Night's Super Bowl (which was 10AM Monday morning here) in full HD, and the pictures were very impressive. They also replayed it at 8:30 PM in our evening and I couldn't see any sign of image deterioraton, so I presume what was re-broadcast is an exact digital replica of what they received over the satellite link. If somebody is going to tell me that's not really 1920 x 1080. it'll do until the real thing comes along! It looks like they used an awful lot of cameras. Does anybody know what they actually did use, or direct me to a website with this information?
Premium Member Adrian Sierkowski Posted February 3, 2009 Premium Member Share Posted February 3, 2009 For broadcast, I'm not sure, but I can tell you it's also all recorded on film thanks to NFL films out in NJ-- super 16mm believe it or not.
