good scenes using ProMist Filters

Hallo everyone,

 

I also posted it in "lenses and accessories" Forum, so sorry if I´m redundant:

 

I have to do a lecture as part of my cinematography studies about Promist filters. I wanted to show some good and exciting examples of it´s use. Can anyone recommend a good movie or scenes that show an interesting use of Promist?

Lots of Robert Richardson’s stuff, right? Casino, Bringing Out the Dead, Kill Bill…

I happen to have these frames from "JFK" on hand:

 

 

 

 

"Nixon" by comparison is relatively diffusion-free, only light grades of ProMist. Around the time of "The Horse Whisperer" and "Bringing Out the Dead", Richardson started using nets instead of ProMists for some scenes, and after that, for awhile, only nets on movies like "Snow Falling on Cedar" and "Four Feathers".

 

You can see the net pattern in the out of focus lights in "Bringing Out the Dead", other scenes show that star-filter-ish flare that the nets cause:
