Looking for some feedback on my last short

A short i shot for my room mate in a lighting class a few months back. Any feedback would be great, thanks.

The lighting i can tell was perfect.

 

Now for the video. This is a simple mistake but that was exporting it in a bad quality and vimeo takes decently high quality video.

 

For the part when the guy takes the pills and you see his eyes dilate you should have keep that shot longer or slowed down the eyes getting dilated.

 

Also when the guy is getting his mug shot you could have added a flash of light when he was side ways. And also when he is facing toward the camera add another flash and have it fade out to the black and white picture.

 

But besides that very good short film. I just added a little pieces that could help it.

It's well done, I thought, however, the hard video look kills the essence of dramatic story telling that the piece imply.

Agreed... i am about to start shooting my next project on two Sony HVR-Z7U and am looking to do everything in my power to achieve some depth of field, and soften shots on talent. Thanks for checking out the video.
