what in heavens name are you talking about?

Well, I thought 'some film' meant 2-3 cartridges. I have some old ones which he could buy for his experiment something (bucket or scratch proccessing, whatever) . But then he expects an address to order 100000 or 1000000 feet from newly produced film.

Apart from the money involved for this experiment.

Maybe you have a big freezer?

Well, it's not about the experiment once it reaches 100000 feet! It's about production. A 3'20" minute loop of film would be 50 feet. 1000 finished units would be 50,000 feet. One has to plan for double the expected sales, or more. Hence 100,000 feet. BTW, this is not about the film. The film is a byproduct. I'm a sound-based guy. Google me.

Wow! zvex. Never expected to find you here. Welcome to our little world. I'm still lusting after one of your tiny tube amps.

You're not thinking of creating a tape delay unit that uses mag film, are you?
