Premium Member David Mullen ASC Posted February 23, 2004 Premium Member Share Posted February 23, 2004 You can't really push the print. You can only print something lighter by using lower printing light numbers. If the blacks become weak, you can compensate by using a print stock with more contrast (Vision Premier or Fuji DI) or if even more contrast and deeper blacks are needed, you can do a silver retention process to the print. Premium Member John Pytlak RIP Posted February 26, 2004 Premium Member Share Posted February 26, 2004 David is correct. Use a higher contrast print stock like Kodak VISION Premier 2393: http://www.kodak.com/US/en/motion/products...8.4.5&lc=en Or a proprietary lab "silver retention" process (which will also reduce color saturation).
