Over Cranking with Letus Adapter

Hello,

 

I'm shooting with the HVX200 with a Letus extreme adapter and canon primes. I'm wondering if I shoot at 48fps, am I going to see the ground glass?

 

What about increasing shutter speed?

The Letus site recommends keeping the shutter speed below 1/120. I suspect you'll be OK at 48 fps, but you should probably test to be sure.

i've seen plenty of 60fps footage shot with an EX1 with a Extreme on the lens and haven't seen or heard from the shooters any problems with the ground glass.

You should be alright over-cranking. I've gone up to 48 on my EX1 and been ok with an Extreme, just make sure you're not at a stop deeper than a 5.6 on either lens (I tend to not go past a 4)
