If i plan to shoot something on HD - i.e a low end HD - sony or a panasonic DVX with a HDV1080i resolution then can i directly go in for telecine after that or do i have to go in for the whole DI process??? "Telecine" means a film-to-video transfer. "D.I." means digital post for cinema release. What you seem to be describing is just traditional HD post.
