wide adapter for my sankor 16c lens?

Recommended Posts

I have a sankor 16c and a sankyo LXL 250. I nearly have to zoom all the way to get a perfect crop from the anamoprhic lens without vignetting. However, the lens needs to be approximately ten feet away to get a head shot. Is there a wide angle adapter for these kind of lens?

and

How do I focus an anamorphic lens? Or do I just focus the camera lens or both?

The adapter would have to be huge to cover the front element so probably not.

You focus both lenses to the subject distance.

YES, he does.

The Iscorama would be easier. Set the camera at inf. and focus on the Iscorama.

Though the squeeze is 1.5x, you'll get 2:1 aspect ratio instead of 2.66:1.

Should be able to cover shorter focal lengths than Sankor.

I'm trying to find out what the actual dimensions of this lens is. If the front element is smaller than 82mm, then there's really no problem finding an adapter for it. I've already found one. So what's the thread diameter of the front element?
