For example if you have two camera setups, the first one takes place 10 feet away from the 2nd, is it acceptable to move the stand with the flag attached to the next setup? or should you always remove the flag, fold the c-stand, and set it up again? or does it depend on length your walking with it and location (interior/exterior? If there is no taco cart, what is the proper way to place c-stands you're not using, or when wrapping at the end of the day? On the ground? Against a wall? thanks No it's not frowned upon unless it's impractical, unsafe or inefficient, and is going right to work on another light.. It also depends on what your Key likes or dislikes. Every one has his own quirks, but in general it's fine. Once a stand is opened to work, there's no reason to close it again until it's packed away for a move etc. Don't overthink it too much, it's all about efficiency. If you're coming back to the same place the next day, stack them opened in the staging area, out of the way of other departments. Always stack c-stands, big legs over small ones, so that the stand closest to set is the first one off the stack. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
steve laramie Posted August 16, 2009 Share Posted August 16, 2009 As long as you arent flying the flag out when you move it I dont see it being a problem.
