we are planning to take a short film this month with a mimimum budget. the whole cinema is to be taken in low light condition. our technical knowledge is very less. most probably a handicam is going to be used (budget shortage).

we have to work inside all kind of limitations both technical and economical sides. suggestions are welcome.

Here's a suggestion that won't cost extra: when editing, convert your footage to black and white. The noise you'll encounter on your footage from shooting in low light on a handicam can be passed off as "artistic grain" in black and white.

Limitations breed unexpected creativity.

thank you for your comments. we are waiting for the unexpected to happen. what is your opinion on usage of

filters? also we are not having a crane or trolley or any other equipments except the camera and a stand. kindly come forward with a

few more suggestions to maximise the beauty of our cinema within the limitations. we are planning to take hand held shots and are less

worried about camera- shakes. is there any other ideas?

Please go to My Controls and change your screen name to your real first and last name per the rules of this Forum.

my real name is Sathyanarayanan itself with an initial A.J.

Is there any need to add those initials also in the display name?
