When transferring to HD Ultra 16mm (native 1.85) should theoretically have more resolution that Regular 16mm as I've outlined in the chart here: http://www.cinelicious.tv/?page_id=39 In the past few months I've had some questions about what the difference actually looks like from camera owners considering the modification so we we ran a little test. http://www.vimeo.com/groups/ultra16/videos/7091040 To me the difference is subtle in terms of gained resolution but very noticeable in terms of horizontal real-estate. Still not as good as Super 16mm but for a $600 mod it certainly adds new life to old 16mm cameras.
