James Martin
Hi Guys, I am sure many of you are familiar with the lightweight wally dolly system. I have used it a few times for Z1 type work and it's been fine. Out of interest, I wanted to find out the maximum weight the system can support, but their site says nada and my local dealer tells me as long as it is on flat ground (ie. not in the air) it will do anything. I am about to invest in an F900 kit, with a Sachtler Studio 9+9 tripod system - the head on that weighs more than a Z1 kit with tripod! I was wondering if anyone had used big setups on wally dollys to either good or bad effect, or had any advice? James
JD Hartman
Guess we're not (familiar). Why not query the maker: http://www.wallydolly.com.au/
Chris Albert
I use it with a Sachtler 20p tripod and heavy duty legs with a PDW-700 XDCAM camera, no problem. Have also used it with a Long Valley Seven Jib and a 5D MkII and that was fine....
