Canon 7d and weather conditions

Hello,

 

I'm a cinematography student and have an opportunity to shoot a movie in India this summer (august period of rain). We would be shooting there with a Canon 5dMII or 7d. I wonder if anyone has an experience using 5d or 7d with this weather conditions and could share it?

What about the lenses you were using?

How crazy is to plan a shooting for this period in Dehli?

The 7D is supposed to have marginally better weather sealing than the 5D.

I haven't really shot much in the rain with my 7D but I have shot in very dusty conditions without problem.

 

Surely though the easiest way to deal with the rain would be to get some kind of rain cover for the camera? :blink:

Did you ever shoot maybe in very high humidity conditions?

I am wondering how to protect my equipment against it.
