Jake Iesu
I recognise the sony viewfinder tube but from that angle it could be anything.
David Brickley
I recognise the sony viewfinder tube but from that angle it could be anything. My thoughts exactly, but I know there are some very keen eyes on here so figured I'd ask. Thanks Jake.
John Cummings
A producer I know is trying to identify the camera in this link: http://www.bengals.com/news/article-1/crew...d9-837353d2b57d I haven't had the joy of using this one before, can anyone recognize it? Thanks! To me it looks like a sony color VF on an arri high speed camera. Funny combo, though.
Jim Carlile
Ikonoscop A-cam 16? Looks kind of like it. Don't they still shoot in 16, too?
Daniel Porto
Lets use a process of elimination.... it's not a Panavision 65 ;P
Michael K Bergstrom
I think it's a sony HD camera of sorts. The more I looked at the picture, I think it's the angle throwing you. I think it looks rounded at the back due to a lighter colored battery or lav pack.
David Bowsky
The viewfinder looks like it is attached onto a small lcd screen, and the back of the body seems to take an upward slant, kinda looks like an EX-3 on some sort of plate - or maybe one of their pmw/pdw cameras? I'm probably totally wrong. Edited April 13, 2010 by David Bowsky

John Cummings
One more stab at it... It has an eng lens, sony vf and an israeli arm on top. The article mentions tape, so my final answer is an F900R.
