That's a nice looking commercial, Ram. I've been using that Tamron 17-50 f/2.8 lens and really like it a lot. What are your thoughts on that lens? How did this look projected on a big screen?

Also, would you mind telling us your post production workflow?

Good stuff!

hi

thanks for the comment

i didn't edited/directed the commercial, but i know they edited it on avid so they convert it to DNxHD

then they work on it with after effect

i like the tamron very much it's a very sharp even on big screen

but not that contrasty as canon lenses (i like that)

Hi Ram,

Congratulations

The commercial looks very crisp and smooth.

I shot a short film with the 7D recently and was quite perturbed by the amount of noise within a frame in areas of low light.

The blacks were fantastic but anything that wasn't black enough just seemed to get this fuzzy noise.

Did you tweak the camera in any way to get rid of these artifacts during the shoot or the footage in post?

Thank you

Cheers

i worked with natural - contrast all the way down

i don't think they used any noise reduction in post

but closing back the black make the pic more clean

and also i use the red1 exposure method ETTR (expose to the right)
