Hi Tony,

 

Do you have verifiable info that this camera, in its current condition, is rock-steady in its transport, with no vertical or horizontal weave in the finished, projected films?

I ask because I got burned on that once, so I would want to know that the camera will run completely to spec regarding camera tolerances for gate stability, as it is being sold.

Hello Claus,

 

Since I haven't filmed anything with the camera (mainly working with my Beaulieu 4008 ZM II and Krasnogorsk), I can't guarantee you that there will be no vertical/horizontal weave in the finished result, even though the motor is running fine with/without film.

I understand your concern (since I bought my super-8 cameras of Ebay as well) and I'm willing to send you a cartridge of Ektachrome 64 or Velvia 50 for you to try the camera out.

If you aren't satisfyed with the result, just send it back (even though I think this wont be necessary) :).
