Premium Member Vincent Sweeney Posted August 19, 2010 Premium Member Share Posted August 19, 2010 Nice. How are you mainly lighting the room? And why did you go with the S2's? When you say "80's feel", were you talking about the script or the look they are after?
XiaoSu Han
We're using the S2's because those are the perfect lenses to achieve some sort of period feel when shooting with the RED. We went with natural light from outside, changed flourobars inside to 5000K bulbs and augmented some shots with kinoflos and bounced 575s. The script is set in the 80s, but since we've such a limited budget some things like the whiteboard can't be avoided.

Tim Tyler
Those stills look great. The lighting feels really natural. The costumes and production design are nice too.
Premium Member Justin Hayward Posted September 5, 2010 Premium Member Share Posted September 5, 2010 I really like the wider look with more negative space. They’re strong compositions. It looks really good.
Brian Drysdale
Great, the RED looks less clinical than I've seen in images from the camera.
