The Johnsons didn’t set foot on the continent of Africa before 1921. Please refer to

We can forget completely about any relation between Martin and Osa Johnson with the Bell & Howell 2709 camera prior to its public introduction in 1912. Reverend Robinson must either have tweaked ends to meet or simply messed up things.
