Donald Riley
If I shot a sunlit background with daylight film and combined it with a person in front of a green screen using tungsten lights and tungsten film, would the combined pictures look funky compared to shooting the person with daylight film and HMI lights, or how about using tungsten lights and daylight film with a filter? I don't have HMI lights and would like to avoid buying them if there is not much difference.
Premium Member John Sprung Posted September 5, 2010 Premium Member Share Posted September 5, 2010 No problem at all. When you get to the compositing process, all that matters is that both elements are correctly balanced. There's no way to tell what color temperature things were shot at. -- J.S.
