I have only European (PAL) version of Panasonic HVX174, that has 1080/50i mode (not 60i). Is it possible to use this material for editing? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Premium Member John Sprung Posted September 10, 2010 Premium Member Share Posted September 10, 2010 It depends on what artifacts the customer is willing to accept, and how much they're willing to spend fixing the selects in post. If you have a 1080/25p mode, that would be better than 50i, since we can run it at 24 fps through the traditional 3-2 pulldown. It also has more resolution. -- J.S.
