Anyone know of a seller that currently offers a re-centering ring for a Krasnogorsk-3 modified to S16mm. I see frequent references to this item in older posts but I cannot seem to find the item listed anywhere.

Dude, why would you want to spend 500 or 1000 dollars on a 3 hundred dollar wind up camera? They're good little 16mm cameras for what they are, maybe the best in that category but not worth modifying to do anything special. If you want to shoot s16, get an Arri BL or a Mitchell. Modify that, then you might have something. Use the Krasnogorsk-3 for what it was designed to do. Don't waste your money. IF you insist, Check with Bruce at Aranda, Olex or Sergey. If they can't do it, they can probably recommend someone who can. B)

I would also try looking for sellers of K-3s to see if they might know.

I might be wrong but I don't think the Arri 16 BL can be converted to S16. The earlier ST model can be so I'm told.

The late Erwin Harwood of N.C.E. took apart one of my K-3 and remarked the workmanship of the movement should had been at a value of $1500 - 2000.00 . He evaluated the viewfinder had insufficent room to display an off center mount required for S16mm.
