Rupert MacCarthy-Morrogh
Hi All, I'm trying to track down a lens set for a Strand Quasar sealed beam Par64 1.2k HMI, any leads would be much appreciated. Cheers Rupert Mac

Cheers Rupert Mac If I recall, new lenses for those lights came with a new bulb. does that sound familiar to anyone?
JD Hartman
I believe it's similar as the old style Arri PAR with the sealed beam bulb and aux. lens set. What diameter lenses would it take? Have you tried QuartzColor to see if they have a set that would fit? http://www.quartzcolor.eu/

I found a old brochure for it here and it says the lens set comes with the light (got mine second hand with no lens set) I contacted QuartzColor last month, but no reply ... My next plan is to give these guys a call. Regards Rupert Mac

I have some Redheads made by Rank lighting/QuartzColor and sold under the Strand label. I was in need of parts, emailed QuartzColor and received no reply. Finally called the Italian office, they assured me they would send information and have their representative in the states contact me. Still waiting, over a year now.
