bogdanovici barbu Posted December 11, 2010 Share Posted December 11, 2010 Well it depends on the direction you are going; the overhead butterfly ,I think, renders a more commercial-ish look on the car, you can also add some kinoflo tubes on the ground creating some nice highlight lines on the cars curves. On the other hand if you are going for a more realistic touch, you might want to go for some street lamp effect. Markus Rave Posted December 12, 2010 Share Posted December 12, 2010 If this is for a commercial look Kinoflos will just leave a little more than a spot on a curvacios surface of a car. For cars you want a butterfly as large as possible. Most studios provide 3D "heaven". The best I worked with was formed like a parable and could be positioned were you wanted it.
